120K Goblin cash VS Chaos Dwarves
Revolucion Permanente managed to beat the batterd humans without hiring any SPP. This means that I now have 120K to face the next game against some very scary Chaos Dwarves.
I am thinking of several Star Player combinations and would like to hear what you think:
a) Ripper + Nobla (110k)
b) Ripper + Fungus + Freebooter Goblin (120k)
c) Fungus + Nobla + Bomber (110k)
d) Ripper + Bomber (110k)
What do you think?.

As much as I'm a goon for hiring Fungus anychance I can get, I can't disagree with the posts below... three trolls on the LOS and someone to cause havoc from a distance would probably give you the best chance to win. I 'third' the motion.

I would consider Ripper + Wizard (120k), too.
A wizard is more reliable than the bomber and he doesn't eat re-rolls either. Bomber has more potential though, especially in the way of fun!
I see Fungus more as a low-budget version of Ripper, you can afford the real deal here.

Wizard is indeed more reliable, but less fun and a one shot. Nobbla doesn't do as well vs av9 so unless you want him to hunt hobgobs all game he is a waste. Fungus is a liability.

Bomber is essential with so much low ag. Personally I would take Nobbla for his blitzing and fouling ahead of Ripper - as IMO your trolls will just get dominated by the CD line and his dp - unless you can get the ref or something. Dont take Fungus, you will need all your rr for the bomber.
So, Nobbla+Bomber+goblin.

Ripper plus either Fungus or Bomber (not both, as you only have 4 rerolls). Nobbla isn't much use against AV9, forget about him. Wizard is also great against chaos dwarves.
I think my favorite combo would be Ripper + Bomber.

whatever combination you take should include a wizard... they're great against dwarves.
