I have recently experienced some.. bad games.

And while I am aware that bad games happen, I present:

My Lustrian Qualifier Final game. My Shrieking Bloodstorm suffered 11 cas (8 in the first drive), and lost 4-1. Against such dice, I really don't think I could do much, although I boldly scored the first touchdown despite those initial 8 cas. I even managed to waste the wizard.

But that game pales in comparison to:

My underworld suffered 11 cas at the hands of Duke Tyrion - but they also managed to suffer 3 more from failed stuff and rocks and whatnot, 14 cas in one game. (Which is the worst I have ever suffered, and the worst I remember ever seeing, although I doubt it's a site record.)

But what made this game TRULY horrendous is that the nurgle beat us 6-0. So far as I know, no other Nurgle team on the site has EVER managed such a victory - and this team did it without any +MA players, and the Sure Hands player primarily did hand offs to other players so they could skill. They also did it without having to use a team rr even once (although they did use a team rr or two to knock someone down) despite the incredible number of pick ups and gfi's made.

So, next time you think something bad has happened to you, ask yourself: was it really SO bad that you can say that it has never happened before on the site? Especially when the site has as many games played as this one does?



Finally the moral of my story: IT WAS FREAKING HILARIOUS TO WATCH THESE GAMES!
Admittedly I felt like a spectator, not a player, but wow! They really were awesome visions of Nuffle! (The fact that none of my favourite players died helps a lot, although Shindahl will dearly miss his developed Saurus friends.)
