NCBB is recruiting for our 42nd season!

This will be our third season using the bb2020 ruleset. We are an American league, so we expect players to be able to play in American evenings (roughly 6pm-12p EST, which is 12am-6am site time), but games are played outside of that time irregularly as well, so we usually have at least a few Europeans as well.

The season will start in mid to late March (although we do accept applications at all times, and either they can enter mid season if we find we have space, or they join the next season).

We have custom rules, as this league is based on American College Football:

We don't allow snotlings, ogres, goblins or halflings. We do allow Slann and Simyin, as well as all other standard bb2020 races.

We don't have redrafts, but we keep track of the players and what season they joined - after 4 seasons (or occasionally 5 if they redshirt), they graduate from College, and leave the team. (They actually then go into a draft pool for our sister league, the NBFL, and can be drafted into the 'big leagues')

All new teams start in the NonAQ - the non auto qualifying conference. This means, in your first season, you only play against other new teams. After that season, you then join one of the auto qualifying conference (we have 4-7 such conferences, depending on how many teams we have).

At the end of each season, we have 'bowl' games; any non aq team with at least 5 wins will get a bowl, and any team from the other divisions with at least 4 wins and a 0.5 win/draw/loss ratio will get a bowl. The most prestigious bowl is the national championships! Our bb2020 champions were Undead (Ottawa) in season 40 and Lizardmen (Texas Tech) in season 41!

Inducements are limited, as is fouling, to reflect that College style.
