Nope, it was wrong. Apparently "Lynch's Law" was because of CHARLES Lynch, but it was a law that said, basically, that it was okay to detain people conspiring against the country without fear of being prosecuted for your actions. He, and his companions did not kill anybody.

According to that stupid pretend encyclopedia Robert Lynch is a Bishop in Florida. No idea why that name got into my head, sorry.
