Real Sociedead 2 - 0 West Ham Unitedead (OBBA Premiership)
Scene opens late at night at the foot of a mountain; a deserted landscape of jagged stone and abyss like crevasses veiled in a carpet of weird thick smoke. Suddenly, like a phantom of the night, Coach SeraphimRed appears.
Reporter: Erm... makes a change from the usual dressing room.
SeraphimRed: Err, yeah.
Reporter: So where are we again?
SeraphimRed: Eyjafjallajokull volcano.
Reporter: ... ... Did Spiro name that?
SeraphimRed: Will the usual OBBA subscribers get that?
Reporter: He's quite popular you know. 1000000 hits this week alone.
SeraphimRed: Well, I think the Global Volcanism Program is to blame, either bored that day or mashed the keypad on that one.
Reporter: You mean quill?
SeraphimRed: Right!
Reporter: So, am I to believe you deliberately started this volcano to stop Coach Pythrr and the Reavers from reaching their next game?
SeraphimRed: That’s correct!
Reporter: Seems extreme.
SeraphimRed: Extreme circumstances call for extreme measures... we’re 3 points ahead but they have a game in hand.
Reporter: Isn’t it dangerous down here then?
SeraphimRed: Significantly less so than it is in the air... ... apparently.
Reporter: O... K... So, another 3 points against Westham Unitedead. How did you think the game went?
SeraphimRed: The game was easy! They blew more than Eyjafjallajokull!
Reporter: The writing department are really flogging that one this week.
SeraphimRed: Yeah; well, it's current and they’re giving Russo and the Sheep jokes a week off.
Reporter: Cool. So why exactly did they blow?
SeraphimRed: Well, for one thing, if they are called Unitedead, why are they in such disarray?
Reporter: They are?
SeraphimRed: Yep. Their Wolves were on LOS duty all game and their ball carriers argued over who should pick the ball up.
Reporter: Really?
SeraphimRed: Yeah, look at the monitor!
Reporter: Magical Ball.
SeraphimRed: Right... in HD.
Reporter: Crystal Ball Clarity.
SeraphimRed: Just watch the damn thing...
Reporter: Hmm... are you sure that footage wasn’t doctored?
SeraphimRed: Ha! Don’t you mean apo’d?
Reporter: ... *sigh* You really don’t get this.
[Transmission ends]
Shades was up hill in this one, and despite a good start for him, KO + RIP in T1, his lack of speed (even less so than my own) and inability to pickup/throw the ball was ultimately game over.
Some crazy AG3 Super Zombie action in the second half got me a little worried at one point... but, it was only a Zombie at the end of the day. Smile
GG mate - fun as usual.
