DLE weight loss update
Well its been something of a disaster...

as of today (1st September) and so latest i could leave it to even vague stick to the "rules" I weigh...

105kg

Bugger

On the plus side i got back up to 108kg and am currently heading down...

Turns out losing weight in your mid thirties with two kids, a full time job and not doing eight sessions plus a week is a lot harder than losing it when you are 20, no kids, no real job and doing lots of rowing.

On another plus side my donation to FUMBLL is going to be quite big: i need to work out how much it will be by finding the original blog.

Still hoping to crash through the 0.1 ton barrier at some point.

Keep trying. Its difficult but any success will be hard earned and more rewarding!

Got 25 mins a day?

Might not seem 'manly' or whatever, but I promise you this is good!

Have a rule that you don't let yourself play Fumbbl unless you have exercised for the day!

By way of support, with a ton of understanding (wife, kids, job.. ) can I ask you what YOU feel your biggest weakness is? Where does the biggest chink in the armor lie? Snacks? A certain food? Late meals?

Eating crap, especially in the evenings. I am back on a no sugar diet which is what I need. I find it hard to stick to though

Bghandras do you mean 4 times a week not 4 times a day?

4 times a week. Sorry about it.

I play football tuesday and thursday evening and run saturday morning and sunday evening. Run is at 5km at the moment.

I tried no sugar diet but did not work. Did not lose weight and caused some minor problems. I abandoned it now i dont drink beer at all and dont take any calorie after 6 pm. This works better but as i said sill did not manage to go below 80 kg although my wife believes the weight loss is visible.

With that said i dont recommend eating or drinking sugar but you can eat pasta or pizza early in the day. Dont do it for dinner late though.

That sounds like a real weakness, as opposed to an imaginary one. That's good news. Those can be dealt with.

Two kinds of hunger.. a craving hunger (and I will lump in low blood sugar) and a 'nutrition deficit' hunger. If you just want that tasty snack, I suggest having a small, private picture handy to look at. Perhaps a pic of yourself when you were more fit. Look at it to help you decide if the snack is more important than the way you felt in that pic.

During a weight reduction plan.. your body could also be missing vital nutrients or minerals. If this is the case, eating WILL be more important than any picture. You need to have one or two very nutritious foods available to you in your fridge that you can eat easily. I suggest having pre-boiled eggs ready to go. Salt, pepper, green onion, or whatever it takes to make them tasty to you.

Two types of hunger. One can be defeated with willpower and motivation consistently. The other can not. People tend to resort to the same junk food, regardless of which reason breaks the fasting period. And junk food does not solve the root cause of the second type of hunger.

Calorie reduction without proper nutrition is doomed to fail. Don't blame your will power. Your body knows when it needs something. Unfortunatly it cannot tell you exactly what it needs, and it is willing to eat anything in an effort to satisfy its requirements.. usually ice cream
