A nice evening
I put teams on gamefinder.

A guy asked for match via PM. I agreed and PM´d him back giving proxy and game name. I set up the game and wait. And wait. I PM him a couple of times but he doesn´t answer. Later I check his account and see that he had played vs. someone else. Thank you for wasting 30min.

I put teams again on gamefinder.

My high elf team is not at it´s best shape so when the gamefinder proposes a match vs woodies I contact the coach in chat. We agree on match and get on playing. First half, turn 6. It´s 0-0. He has lost 2 players BH and 3 KO. I have one KO. His st4 wardancer gets stunned on 1 dice blitz and I get the ball. The woodie coach disappears. First from game, then from chat. He stays online for a short while but doesn´t reply PM. Thank you for wasting 1 hour (inc. contactig admin etc.).

The first one ws definately a bit rude if he was teh one who asked for a game and didnt show or tell you why

the second could well be a genuine disconection. Often IRC seems to go first and it takes a while for you to notice that the clients gone as its still fine at your end. and fumbbl shows someone as being on line for 10 minutes after they last logged on teh site

Except he wrote that he disapeared from the game first and then IRC which seems abit more suspect.

The first one will teach you something... Arranging games via PM is tricky. I don't recommend it.

If someone pings out, the chat sometimes lingers a bit.
Nevertheless, disconnections on purpose is not acceptable. Hope it gets sorted out.

Well, I sometimes accept challenges by PM (mostly from players that are even newbier than I). When we get on playing I advice these guys to use IRC in the future. I myself use IRC.
