First Ever Bloodbowl Tournament match

Had an absolute blast in my first ever tournament Match in the FUBAR Cup.

A proper baptism of fire as I played Coach Harad and his Counting on the Count who not only were season XII ARR winners they also have a ST6 Vampire Count Outloud IV!

A really fun match, which featured 3 blitzes, injuries, mistakes, misclicks etc, all which made me happy despite the loss.

Thanks to Harad for the game, now i've popped the cherry, how about the Warpstone Open?

Even though it was a losing effort Nuffle blessed my Blitzer with his third double (an 8)!

When there are so useful normal skills to still consider for him, should I give up on this double and risk nuffle's wrath or go for something like juggernaut or grab, to be a bit different?

Any thoughts appreciated.

Cheers.

Pleased to help with that and glad you'll be making future appearances. When you're not playing vampire freaks I am sure things will go well and if the -2d had come off, it could have been very different.

The skill is tricky. Guard is always good but it would almost be more valuable on any other player on your team. Diving tackle and jump up are regulars but also good.

Dodge would probably be my pick. It's boring but necessary. If you want to get creative. Juggernaut followed by frenzy cam be fun but sometimes gets yourself into trouble

I would say dodge too. Its very useful for not dying and for running about like a mad man!

I'd go dodge.

Also, remember that Harad is a filthy lucker.

:P

Oh I assumed he had dodge. See Throweck's comment above.

what, that you are filthy lucker - 2nd blitz indeed lol ;-)

Oh yes it's well known that I'm a filthy lucker.

Cheers for playing sir, and glad you enjoyed it :)

Add to the list of "imposing facts" about Harad's team - "last year's finalists". And yes, he is a lucker, because that's not even his only St6 vamp >:(
