Rage Retire
I retired a Chaos team in the box today, with a losing record, few skills, and more frustration then I could imagine.

However, what I realized after I had retired them is that I really had no cause to retire them, and now all those losses, all those SPPs, are wasted.

So, I've created a new Chaos team and I'm determined to play to 100 games. Even if it kills me.

rated 6 for the spirit.
i'll be retiring my non-fun basher teams one by one after they played a game of ffb, or more - and took good beatings.

These days, if I am thinking of retiring a team, I try to leave it until the next Morning.

If in the cold light of day I still want to retire them, then they are gone. But it helps stop that rash reaction that can cost me a team.

Im not sure a death at the keyboard will help fumbbl's drive to recruit new players, but I like your attitude!

Rated 1 for yet another bash team in the box.

I think most coahes reach a point where

1. teams will not be retired regardless of their state (me)
2. don't give a toss about their teams and constantly retire/create (Billbrasky)
3. throw their toys out of the pram for as long as they are in FUMBBL! (Too many coaches to mention!)

I have a handful of teams that I will keep for the duration of FUMBBL. The rest are re-evaluated periodically, and ones I just plain don't like (theme, race, etc.) may get retired. A few times I've restarted new versions of the teams and liked them better, often not.

With FFB and new/updated races I'm planning on another evaluation. I'm probably ditching my khemri teams and maybe my pro elves. I'll give Nurgle another try. My ogres may hide in a corner muttering "we don't have to convert, we don't have to convert" until the mean old snotling-maker goes away; or maybe we'll just suck it up and go through the nerf. My wood elves (and their heavy mix of +ST and niggling injuries) will work out much better in FFB.

I can't remember the last time I retired a team for spite though...at least, not one of my own ;)

rated a 6 for what i read as less concessions and thus less stuff for me to wade through in the future. I am right yes?
