Hideous mutant ★ Zuggrak 'Splatta' Gorblat ★ of the Badlands Black Feathers has started to come good at last. His giant hand allowed him to scoop up the ball and cross the Clawz line twice, doubling his tally for the season, and securing a vital win for the BBF.
Coach Kozilek spread the workload amongst his players in their shutout win over the Karak Azgaraz Fanatics. An impressive win but all the more impressive six players contributed to a true team victory.

The Black Feathers inflicted the first defeat on the Clawz of the season, giving them the advantage in the race for the Conference title. Their dominance was evident in the post-match analysis. Only 3 players failed to take part in every play. The Clawz were restricted to just 3 rushing yards and 2 fouls. The game pivoted in Badlands' favour in turn 3 with 4 badly hurt and 1 KO against the Clawz, which they were unable to overcome. A clinical win.
= IN MEMORIAM =
For every winner, there must be a loser and, to give them their (final) moment in the limelight, we recognise those players who left us this week:
‣ Harmony Odeir (Karak Norn Crusherz) - a Black Orc rookie with just 5 games under her belt. But it did allow the commentator to finally use the phrase he had been saving up all season; "Oh dear, oh dear, Odeir..."
‣ Grum Skullcleava (Karak Azgaraz Fanatics) - the Season I 3rd round pick and 10 game Blitzer will be sorely missed, he was the 4th of 6 first half removals by the Big 'Uns.
‣ Gurog Uzugarn (Nordland Skull Smasherz) - some days you are the hammer and some days you are the nail. This Big 'Un got nailed in his 9th GDR game - five for the Skulls and four for the Sartosa Kraken - during which time he managed to inflict 5 casualties. The Season II 3rd round pick will be missed by Coach Rijssiej but not by his opponents.
