Well done pythrrr looks like he has the title as G_Force needs to beat Purplegoo by 4 to stop him.

Game was pretty even after T1 as Ripper Bolgrot was prevented fopr playing for B'Orca by a handicap, and the apoth was used on teh STR5 BOB who niggled. In T1 the best B'Orca blitzer (Messi Str4) was BH'd and also a BOB was BH'd too, meaning that the sides were pretty much even with the freaky AG5 player being the difference no doubt. GTR for B'Orca was disapointing and they failed to score at the half time whistle thanks o a pesky Sidestep Blitzer.

In the second half there was a brief moment where it looked like the ball was gonna fall nicely for B'Orca to score on the break but a bit of elf-ball saw the ball recorved by Reavers and the Duke then waltzed home for the score.

pythrr played well and I screwed up a couple of important decisons nuff said...the dream died tonight!!!

Reavers win, look set for second Premier championship!
***************************************************************

So, Orc on Orc action, in a Premiership classic.

Pre-game was fun, with Palmed coin (boo) and It wasn't me (took out the hired Bolgrot - yay!), and Russo's terrifying 5ST Frenzy Bob Lillian Thuram niggled out (but was apoced, which proved to be crucial)...

Russo's mighty Borcalona receive, and GTR. Oh crap, say Reavers, as the DP onslaught begins, not helped by one of the Reavers DPs being sent off on his 2nd foul. Reavers see 2 depart on the first turn, but then turn the table back BHing two Borcalona players, including the mighty anti-Duke Lionel Messi (St 4 blitzer).

The rest of the first half went as onbe might imagine, bash, surround, DP foul, with Reavers down to 5 players when..... russo left the ball carrier exposed to a 2d Leaping Stripballing Duke. He did just that, and then - with the aid of a SS Blitzer and a GD Bob - managed to tie the ball up for the last few turns.

0-0 at HT.

The second half saw 8 Reavers line up against 10 Borcalona players (well, 9 and a DP goblin). The Duke went to get the ball, but 1-ed it into the crowd and saw the ball fly to the open side of the field, dangerously exposed. borcalona swarmed forward, and the goblin shapened its boots - BUT - freshly released from the gimp box, the ref saw the little horror and sent him packing to the stands.

With some risky passing, Reavers managed to get the ball back and get it to the Duke, who played "can't touch me ya slow gimps" with the chaising hordes, and eventually managed to navigate his way around the defending Borcs and - again with the help of some agile blockers - ran in an unlikely winner in T16. Woot.

Tough game for Russo, as he would have expected to have won this, but again we see the truth in the old saying:

THE DUKE IS TEH SEXIEST MAN IN OBBA! ALL HAIL ME!

A season that began with a demoralising 0-1 loss to Sera's luckzy undead, has seen Reavers move to the verge of a second franchise Premiership title. All that stands in their way are the freakish wolves of G Force's Wanderers.

So, G force needs to beat Goo by 4 to win the Prem. A tough task, but doable.
