Key relegation battle this!

Game started 13 vs 10, as the Reavers were missing a BoB (MNG) and an lineorc niggled out. Receiving, the drive started well, niggling one lineman and KOing another. Despite some desperate Human defence, the Orcs managed to keep hold of the ball and make it 1-0 at the half through the Duke.

Second half began 11 v 8 due to orcish crap AV vs the T8 LOS bash. The Humans decide to throw caution to the wind and score in T2. Orcs receive, back to 9 v 11, and look to grind the drive again. But, with first a POW blitz on the Duke and then - after Ryan Green had recovered - a T6 snakes dodge attempt, the Human's scooped up the ball to score in T16.

A fun game, and one in which the fact that a draw would have pretty much doomed them both to relegation, thus there was lots of sketchy attempts to score and win. Crappy 2nd half dice mean that the Reavers are most likely looking at the Championship next season (hopefully in the new client), unless they pull off some huge upset vs either the Chaos or Dorfs. Unlikely.

GG Vampy, much fun indeed.

Cheers Vampy. For the advice, like.

#7 Robert Koren – Broken Jaw (MNG)
#7 Robert Koren – Damaged Back (NI)
A very fun game indeed, as always is the case against Sir Pythrr.

Never easy playing Orcs but the one man advantage (although reduced to a one man deficit in one swift turn for the first half) and some terrible first half dice meant that Foulbion couldn't touch the Reavers and had to watch from the turf, then their feet, then the turf again, the their feet, then the turf.... until finally, the Reavers scored.

The second half saw a real swing for Foulbion as their luck went from 33% to near 60% by the end of the half. And The Reavers, jubilant with their TD and the ease at which Foulbion had capitulated sat back thinking the game was won. But a TD! A TD and it was 1-1. Like lightning Foulbion actually scored and it was 1-1.

This seemed to shock The Duke and his pals. Not too much tho, as they continually caught the spilled pigskin every time the humans knocked it from their grasp. That was until eventually the Reavers became surrounded and the 2 man advantage of the second half became known. The Reavers, flustered at being outnumbered, started slipping about and not guarding themselves from incoming fists. One Reaver, so terrified by the might of the Foulbion players that had surrounded him, made a gutsy effort to, well, one can only assume, run away. But alas, Nuffle does not like a man that can't stand his ground if his skin is green and he duly made him fall on his face. The ball spilled, the humans gathered it up and made an effort to the line. Only The Duke could stop them now. Ah but he was too busy looking at himself in the mirror and doing his legendary hair (at least that's why I think he is a legend - it's the kick ass mullet right?) and when someone said "DUUUKE STOP THEEEMM!!!" he panicked, tripped on his flowing legendary locks, and fell on his face. Score. 2-1.

UL Pyth - those last couple turns really decided the match. Not a good time to start throwing bad dice. Just some advice there for your next game ;) :P
