“Fun game vs Ebe's dorfs, in which I spent the last few turns taking silly risks in order to skill Ryan Green to 126 spps. Having done so, I remembered that 126 is no longer a skill point. Thank you very much lrb 6.0 and the NERF-Batters who designed it. Gimme my bloody skill back!

Anyway....

Game report:

Reavers received in the first half, and moved the ball carefully upfield, trying to avoid the new Dorf tank. They did so fairly well, although the BT tank did pow the duke once, but the ball was recovered by Ryna Green and the orcs scored in T8.

Second half the dorfs get the ball and move down the right. The orcs crowd them, get a luck BH on a blocker, and generally disrupt the dorf advance. Another dorf - this time a troll-slayer - gets BH and the dorfs go to plan B, scurrying to the middle of the pitch. Unfortunately this opened up some space for Battyman and Robbing (aka the Duke and Ryan Green) to pounce, taking the ball off the dorf ball carrier. The ball changed hands a few times after that, but all the action was in the dorf backfield so the question was really whether it was going to be 1-0 or 2-0 by that point. After much silly risks, the Duke handed the ball to Ryan Green in the endzone in T16 to make it 2-0.
