Reavers take game in Magic Performance vs the Saints

A big tough matchup this, with an experience Dorf team, bristling with tackle, GD and MB, with two AG4 runners to move the ball. Southland turned up, having somehow "misplaced" their steam-powered deathroller en route, narrowing the gap between the team. Reavers responded by handing a huge bag of gold to Jimmy McJimmy, Wizzard of the North, who drunkenly waddled over to the Orc bench with a hawt "lady of easy virtue" on each arm.... "Time to get Busy!" He laughed!

The Orcs kicked off, and - sensing the Dorfs plan - put their Perfect D into action! The Green Wall mobbed the little hairy men, and eventually forced them into a high risk rush down the right..... and right into the arms of the waiting Duke! After a brief scuffle, the Duke retrieved the ball and ran off downfield, taunting the dorfs, who ran after them with their comic little legs going pitter patter, pitter patter. After a brief apoplexy of amusement, the Duke recovered himself to score in T8.

1-0 at HT to Reavers..... and receiving.

The plan at HT was to score quick, to make the game safe, and we proceeded to do just that in T4. The Orcs did hope to skill one of their new guys, but that plan went south when the Duke realized he had the ball, and that women were watching. "Screw you mate, there a fit bird watching me, and I'm going to SCORE!" he muttered, sotto voce, as he ran past the waiting lineorc ("hey, but,,, hey") to make it 2-0.

After this the orcs nearly made it 3-0 with an outrageous flying attempt, but the Dorfs recovered, and with a bit of AG4 magic scored from a long bomb to a blitzer in a TX in T16.
