“Probably one of the most tense matches played by the Unicorns to date!

Good opening.
First half, won FAME +1, won the toss and elected to receive.
Pitch invasion where the Dorfs were smashed.
I then spent the entire half unable to dent Dorf armour beyond stuns and had my line orc Yoda sent off by a vigilant ref to no effect on the Dorf.

Poor redmaul had a player freeze during his move action to get an assist on Luke SkyOrcer. The java client glitched and the AG4 Dorf was unable to provide a much needed assist. The ruling was to "play it as it lay" and redmaul managed to dodge another Dorf clear to assist the blitz. The one dice blitz however failed and Luke carried the ball over the line, with the Unicorns scoring on turn 8.

On the one turn, Dorfs smashed the Unicorns. Ewok was killed and I spent the apoth on him which made for a very tense back half.

Dorfs received kick and fumbled the handoff. Unicorns raced in to get TZ on the ball and hopefully scrounge it in a turn or 2. Lots of biffing, then Luke blitzed and pushed the Dorf onto the ball, JaJa was nearby hoping to catch the scatter; [4] then [5] Catch Reroll, scatters to Dorf [6]. From there, field position was crap and Unicorns scrambled to get back.

redmaul was stalling to score turn 16 for 1-1 draw as likely to win the Conference on points tally if we tied. A poor block dice result though forced a CAS and a skill advance for Mace Windu (thank you redmaul)... The only viable option was a blitz with Luke, dodging into two TZ to make the hit. Makes the dodge! Double POW and the ball scatters with the AG4 blitzer down on the dirt for the beginning of turn 16 with Luke next to the ball.

Blitz on Luke resulted in both-down, AG 1 blocker failed to dodge for the ball and so ended the game 1-0 to the Unicorns. Luke did the team proud on that second last turn.”
