A season has up to five Player Markets in which teams may participate in legal player auctions and hire unemployed or temporary unlocked players.


Upcoming Market: Pre-Season Market
A first market is held at the start of the season’s Pre-Season Tournament for teams that participate at the tournament.
The market is held before the first round of the season’s Pre-Season
tournament and features unemployed players from dissolved teams.

Hired players at this Player Market gain Loner(+3) or add +1 to their current Loner for the full Pre-Season tournament.

Players that don’t get hired remain in the pool of unemployed players for the next market.

XXXL teams may hire up to 4 players total per season in a Player Market.

Player Markets are organized Secret Auctions, coaches may bid for up to three players over three rounds of bidding.
Bids are handled in units of 5K, must be higher than the player’s current and a team’s total amount of bids must not be larger than the team’s current treasury.

Players will join the highest bid per round.
If two or more teams teams make the same bid for the same player the team with the highest Professionalism Rating gains the advantage. Exceptions are made if two teams are currently participating in a Blood Feud, as players will always favor to join the current leader of such a Feud.
Bids made at later rounds always autofail.

Traded players join their new team with their current skills and their current player costs, but they gain Loner for a specified time while they are still trying to adapt to their new team environment.

If the team’s number of rostered players for a specific position raises above the regular allowed limit, the new player counts as Additional Positional and has to be paid upkeep in cash based on their player value after each match.


The player loses this special status if the team’s number of rostered players reached the regular allowed limit again.

Firing a newly bought, stolen or traded player before ever fielding said player in a game may result in disharmony roll among the team, staff or audience.

The Great Bribery gives registered teams a chance become active after the Regular Team Management phase during an ongoing Regular Season has ended.
Teams can send in secret offers to bribe Free Agents to play for them under Exclusive Contracts, bribe for access to the Black Market or try to corrupt league officials.

Bribes are send via fumbbl DM to the league’s bribemaster.
Bribes are handled in 5K units and must not be above the team’s current treasury.

In case of two or more matching offers the team with a higher professionalism rating gains advantage.
If no top offer can be decided all offers are declared to be failed.

A bribe for a Black Market card must start at least with 25K.

The team with the top offer may see the two current top cards of the Black Market deck and choose one, the unwanted second card goes to the bribery's second best offer or to the bottom of the card deck if no other offers were made.

A team may activate a gained Black Market card at once or loot the card for later usage (up to a maximum of 3 Black Market cards total).

A bribe for a Corruption card must start at least with 40K.

The team with the top offer may see the two current top cards of the Corruption deck and choose one, the unwanted second card goes to the bottom of the card deck.

A team may activate a gained Corruption cards at once or loot the card for later usage (up to a maximum of 3 Corruption cards).

Free Agents update their asking price between matchdays based on demand. Players that got induced will raise their costs by 10K (max +50K) while players that were missing a payday will lower their costs by 10K (max -50K).

A team that wants to make an offer to a Free Agent must make an offer above the player's current costs.

If no top offer can be decided all offers are declared to be failed and the player remains a Free Agent.

A team may send in offers for several players, but the total amount of offered bribes must not be above the team’s current treasury.

Free Agents hired under Exclusive Contract join their new team for the value of their bribe. They can no more be induced by other teams.

These players will always demand upkeep and additional special care. In case of suffering a Serious Injury or worse a Free Agent will demand to be healed, otherwise the player leaves the team. However, they will still take their pending upkeep payment before leaving.

If a Free Agent left a team, the player rejoins the Free Agent pool after (healing their injuries) and declaring to never play again for the responsible coach (lasts until Season Reset).
