Best little league tournament anywhere, this.
Anyone wants to try to bag the Late Show Bombadier from last time, or retire Master and Blaster early, let me know. Ex-SWL monster squads particularly appreciated. |

Can you play more than 6 fringe games to qualify? The two descriptions vary:

A team must gain the recognition of Fringetown (aka Bushtown) through playing in various games and competitions. This means playing against at least 6 different SWL Fringe coaches during Stage 1 Thunder Road, to be invited to this year's Thunderdome.
|
Can you play the same coach more than once and are there any limits on this? |

Last time it was
Stage 1 play as many different coaches with the same team as possible to qualify. This is harder than it looks and you could play more. Only 8 coaches managed this last time.
Stage 2 was a three round random draw tournament. With the top 4 making it through to the finals.
Stage was a knockout 4 team tourney.
That said Balle can do whatever he wants depending on how many teams qualify. |

Yes. As many as you like.

Yes, more than once is ok. The only limit is minimum 6 different coaches.
lolvenom wrote: | What format for the main event, and what's the schedule like? |
Swiss followed by TV-seeded King of the Hill. Winner plays the champions. Exact schedule TBA, but mid to late June start of Thunderdome 14.

Great, thanks both. Will we need to record the 6 different games we play or anything like that to make it easier to show who's qualified, or do we just say we have and someone else gets to trawl for them? |

Not sure if I want to try and qualify with my Khemri or my chorfs.
Decisions, decisions. |

And we're off!
Freezy Trees leaves SWL behind them. Clark survives 101 games of the best the League can throw at him. DEAD in the first game of Thunder Road.
RIP Big Guy. You've earned the rest. |

For those who are interested in getting some games under their belt, I'm kicking off a meta-league for legacy teams. Looking to start in the next week or so...
Bring out your old DIBBL/SWL/SSL teams that don't get games!!!
