Attitude and Perspective
Recently, someone conceded a game against me roughly at the end of the first half.

Has been not much of a lucky game for him until them, but I've seen FAR worse. Also, his team hadn't had any kind of lasting damage (only a badly hurt player and a couple KO's).
For some reason, that guy was already angry and nervous BEFORE the match (probably he was having a bad luck streak in these days).

Ok, I understand that these things happen. And since we are talking about pixels there is no real difference in getting angry about some KO pixels rather than about some dead pixels. Also the guy retired his team immediately afterwards...

Again, I understand that this can happen. But then I go with memory to this match and this other match. In those matches I turfed the opponent's team. Hard. And these are only examples... I did it other times.

Everyone of us probably delivered a crushing beating to someone at some point in his coaching career. And I'm not talking only about Bouskopanz and Wuhan here. Heck, even the team that was retired against me once did 7 casualties to an opponent in a match!

Well.. during these bloody matches those coaches did not lose their good humour. We laughed our way to the bitter end and only now I'm realizing how muck I've learned from them in matter of perspective and good attitude. Another game I did was against someone that fouled repeatedly my mummies in my khermri team. I'm happy to relate that I mantained my good humour and we laughed our arses off all game long.

So for now I'm taking to online bbowl cheerfully... as I should. As long as it lasts... here is a public kudos to Coaches diadochoi and Morpheous... and Kondor, DarcMarc, chris6 and many others for teaching me something about having the right attitude.

Well... to be honest maybe I'll still be a little grumpy when I get diced but hey, that's hormones for you.

^^

EDIT: this blog entry is in no way to be intended as an attack to the guy that conceded that game. As I said, bad mood and bad things do happen... I just wanted to thank some of those that contributed to the good time I'm having here.

^^
