well..it's been a good while since i've done a nice healthy abusive blog post...so here we go....

first off...to anyone saying a 7d ban is nothing?...

how many of you have been banned?....probably none...

i've been banned more times than i can count...what reasons have i been banned for?...abusive speech mainly....

so tell me something...why do i get banned for verbally attacking people, but i get banned for 2 days.....but when a coach goes to an admin to notify them of an issue, and look to rectify said issue...they get a 7d ban?....whatever happened to "the punishment fitting the crime"?...

it's either 1 of 2 things...either a) there's more to the story than people are telling, or b) some admin *cough cough* has a real stick up their you know what, and needs to take a freaking vacation, and quit taking this place so seriously...

and seriously, can we put a moratorium on riding christer and angie's junk?...it's getting old...

we get the point...christer and angie put a ton of time in here....yay, congrats, good for them...

as far as christer goes, yes the typical "it's his site he can do what he wants blah blah blah" applies...

but hey, y ou know what...just because angie puts in way too much time here, doesn't give her a free ride to be an overzealous dictator...remember the "oh you impersonated me so i'm going to ban *EVERYONE* until someone steps forward" incident?...

in this whole stupid debacle, one thing has been lost sight of....

few people are arguing that rules were broken....

- sure someone had multiple accounts, but what do we do when someone makes multiple accounts? we inform them to talk to the admins, explain the situation, and it can be resolved....how many coaches have come on saying "oh my brother has an account and he lives in my house", and the issue is notated, and life goes on...but yet in this particular instance, someone gets banned?...yeah...i call bunk...

- sure, the second account was "owned" by someone who was 4 years old....if there was no parental supervision, i could totally understand not allowing them access...but what parent in their right mind is going to let a 4 year old surf the internet unsupervised?...i mean seriously, i know there's some stupid people on this site, but i find it hard to believe people are *that* stupid...

so again, the issue isn't so much rules violation, as it is the "over the top heavyhandedness" of the admins as of late....bans for stupid crap, threats of banning anyone and everyone, innocent and guilty alike, i mean where does it stop?

while i'm not advocating that admins stop enforcing rules, i *am* asking to actually use some perspective, and judge each situation by its own merits, instead of blanket banning everything just because you can...

banning a coach because they had multiple accounts that were playing each other, and boosting teams....sure, be my guest, go right ahead, it's totally justified *and* expected...

banning a coach because they set up a second account for their kid?...seriously, get a grip, and get over yourself...

as for mac's comments about leaving if the site was open to all ages...while i can see your point to an extent...i've seen some young children pick up video games and absolutely slaughter anyone opposing them...need proof? go youtube for "guitar hero 4 year old" and watch to your heart's content...

kids can grasp things so much easier than adults can...how they do it, who knows...granted this isn't every kid ont he planet, but it's not uncommon at all for a child to be much better at a game than an adult...

also i've known plenty of kids that are CONSIDERABLY more mature than some of the jerkoffs that are on this site...just look at some of the idiotic chat that goes on IRC on a daily basis....
