So, Tunks finally got an excuse to get rid of the contract he was bound and he retired from active play, taking with him another promising star blitzer Muks.

Team had been in financial troubles for a while now following disastrous training campaign for the Crown of Sand tournament (to wich they didn't even make it to the qualifiers). After losing over 1000 SPP's worth of elvish skill in just under 10 games the team decided it was time to put a stop to the spiralling expenses and quit fooling around - no High Elf is gonna rock the box. Never.

It was poor, I agree. But team had no more games to be played it was not worth continuing.

You should have quietly retired them after the concession. Not the way to go out after all those games. Seems like an insult to the legacy of the team.

Sorry to hear about that! They did look like pulling them out of that spiral would have been an unpleasant chore for quite a few matches. Hope to see the DEs and/or WEs competing for E.L.F. titles!

Tmoila is right. The risk of ruin makes the feelings stronger. If you like building teams and almost vomiting from stress every time you activate a high tv or legend laden team Box is perfect

Box is a perfect place for team-attachment. Facing off against the odds builds character(s)!

(For me playing Humans in a fantasy setting is all about this, regular Joe versus whatever horror the box brings you!)

My team is still going although I do not keep elves as damaged as you do tmoila. A -AV is as good as dead for a High Elf IMO.
