The TV spread in the league this season is over 900k difference, which is a huge amount of inducements! With that in mind, new for this season is the Giant Killer Award, presented to the team that wins the most games during the conference stage playing up in TV.

Teams gain points towards this award as follows:

Winning against a team with higher TV: +100% of the TV difference
Tie-ing against a team with higher TV: +50% of the TV difference
Losing against a team with higher TV: No points
Losing to a team with lower TV: -10% of the TV difference

With three games played in the second round, the current standings are:
1. Luccini Renegades - 140pts
2. Wardens of Tettoverde Wood - 100pts
3. New Bretonnia Expatriates - 60pts
4. Serpents Coast Scavengers - 39pts
5. Uzkulak Marauders - 36pts
6. Amazon Isle Rangers - 10pts

A sad day.

Hero INGIMANN REAVERSON was killed by a particularily foul orc. The Icedragons tried their best and aided by a very able wizard nearly managed a turnover in their defense. However, the sloppy play of the orc coach was not punished as it should have been and with dwindling numbers, the brave Northeners finally succumbed to the nasty green horde.

Respect to Coach Meanandugl - someone was watching the game and left at the half - their mistake!

Between frenzy-surfs and bad luck for the Rangers, the lizards dominated that first half - Zons had only 6 players to start Turn 4, 4 to start Turn 5, and only 2 on the pitch by the time the Expats got the ball in the (tiny, tiny) hands of a Saurus for the Turn 8 score.

But only 2 were out for the game - and all came back for the second half - and they not only tied the score Turn 3, but (perhaps with the help of Nuffle) stymied the Lizards and their MA 12 skink, while battering the skinks and taking no (recorded) Casualties themselves!

Rookie team out in first place in Albion with 8.5(!!!) tie-breaker points - Grats!

This is a great season so far, very promising new teams, no team dominating and nearly all teams still have chances for the playoffs. Exciting!

Aha, YOU were the one! J'accuse!

It did look over - but only for that half!

Altho' there were only 2 on the pitch at the T8 score, 4 were KO'd with 5 in reserve (3 from flacid surfs) - plus one no-skill lino BH by a T2 foul and their induced DP banned.

So after a meaningless T8 kick they were able to field a full 11 for the 2nd half KickOff - and v. a lizard team that had lost its own Sneaky Git RIP and lone Diving Tackle skink BH - and it was a new game.

I think my team is gonna take new top spot with this after winning GAZZATROTS Black Mountain FORC'ers, what had 750k tv advantage in that game Smile. That giant killer award would be sweet
