Best High TV Elf Coaches
Who are the best High TV elf coaches around? I would like to spectate some matches and see how they deal with teams that have sure hands plus a few guard players. I have done well with my High Elves but I am at a point where I find myself making too many -2d blocks and hoping for long odds to come through.

I have found that people will try to grind and that gives me several shots with long odds on the ball carrier. Eventually I get lucky and the ball often pops out. The problem is that I cannot count on this tactic at all. I need to work on my defense and see how to make other teams slowly move their cage until they get nervous or frustrated and leave me an opening that is not -2d on a sure handed ball carrier.

One idea I just thought of is to go watch some tournament game replays.

Low TV with elves is simple if you have a leaping ball stripper. Higher TV is more complicated.

Any suggestions?

Are you looking specifically for High Elves, or any Elves?

Apart from Malmir's team already linked, here are a few great HE teams to start with:

Have you seen these: https://fumbbl.com/help:Defensive+Setups ?

The chevron and longbow are useful not just at kick off, but also during the drive. Keep reforming those, or the 2-player columns with 2-square intervals, and it will make it difficult for your opponent to advance their cage. Use your free players to try and make them roll more dice before you try and make any risky blitzes on the ball carrier.

P.S.: Elves have more tools than just Leaping into the cage for successful defence!

Played lots of elves, I almost never do leap/strip ball.

Positioning is the game, and knowing when it's time to commit. I also recommend the Box teams above as a good place to learn.

I agree on the Generic [B] Elves. If you look at this page:
https://fumbbl.com/p/teams?group=&race=49&order=6&nav=10
They have a very high win rate in Box and you can be assured that none of those games were picked.
