This sort of topic comes up every so often, and I think most coaches have one memorably mediocre player.
He's not close to the record, from memory (I think there's a goblin with more games without any sort of spp??) but Haunter - a skeleton on my Box Khemri (the Z Men - First Class) went 35 games without any SPP whatsoever, and took until game 41 to get an MVP.

yeah, these kinds of lineplayers are funny and sometimes frustrating. But the amazing thing about them is how long they've survived being on the LOS on defense. I have a norse linemen with 3 -MA but I still keep putting him out there after more than 20 games. He finally got his first SPPs recently - an MVP! I doubt he'll ever skill, and I'm not sure I want him to. I'd almost certainly take Fend.

Another few games, he'll get MVP, roll +ST, and then die immediately after.
