Refinald the fling.
I spelled a flings name wrong after a particularly brutal match when I needed to buy a few reinforcements. I thought ah well, he'll die soon.
He rolled MA+. I was happy. But thought, he'll die soon.
Doubles! Block or dirty player? Let's go with DP. Extra move will get him to the action to do some damage.
AG+ hmmm regretting that DP now as a blodger would've been ideal.
But... I feel that taking DP has made him luckier. Reffy has died twice since, both times my APO has patched him up and put him in reserve. He has pulled off some crazy plays (we won't mention the game where he dropped three pick ups all re-rolled one after the other).
I'm kinda glad I took DP over block. I created a little story to go with it.

If you had taken "Block" ... he would be a little monster.
In most of the cases you don't want to foul with the little guy... since he puts a lot of value on the bench if the ref spots him.

Just don't get to attached... he'll go *Splut* when you least expect it.
Either on a GFI
or a 1/9 failed landing roll
Or a dodge
A Block (with someone that has block)
Or just someone that puts a boot on his groin
Or a double skull
... or maybe some rock just happens to fall on his head.
They kinda all go "splut" at some time.

I understand... but you can boot without dirty player and still be send off.
Just saying that (specially on +AG) block and (if you have enough block in the team) wrestle ... would make your fling a lot more effective.
Dodging into a cage 2+ and doing 2d against (with reroll back up) is no joke. LOL
Also, as a ball carier, "block" is superior... even if he lands up in no mans land, if your opponent doesnt have tackle, he just sometimes doesnt find the POW. that makes him score the next turn (most of the times if you don't hit snake eyes).
I kinda only pick "dirty player" after having 2x Block , and 1x Wrestle in the team... and even then, I'm more thinking of taking another block. It just makes your life a whole lot easier. And if things go seriously sour, you can still evacuate your blockers by booting the crap out of stuff. But this ussually means you are loosing.

just make sure to give him "side step" next ... at least it helps him keeping out of harms way. It will save him a lot more then "dirty player" most of the times, and makes him more effective in defence! ... good luck with him.
