GLT Final draw
So. Some might say I foolishly was the first person to sneak the final draw position and I am up against SvenS' =Tearful Actors= with a nice 930k worth of inducements.
I'm not sure what to spend all this lovely cash on so I am looking for some help (@SvenS - I am going to ignore everthing you say :P).
I am thinking Zug, Griff, Wiz, Apo and 2 babes which is 930k on the button but I am open to better ideas.

However, you have an issue with a lack of tackle and guard. I'd consider Morg because 3D hits + ST6 ball carrier will present SvenS (no strip ball) with much more difficulty.
Also with a strong elf team the wizard can be worth a lot less than vs a strong bash team, as they can re-recover the ball far more easily.

In fact, 3 rerolls only for the Actors + Leader.
I'd almost certainly take a chef. That'd make bad dice a big factor if SvenS runs into them.

The High Elves have a ST 4 MBPO catcher and a MB tackle blitzer in addition to a MA 10 (AV 6) catcher and AG 5 leaping (AV 6) catcher. Those 4 pieces are perhaps the most troubling.
Zara (270) would give you stab against the AV 6 and AV 7. Normally not as useful against high elves - but with 3 of his 4 key pieces being AV 6/7 and your lack of tackle - she could be gold here.
Griff (320) I see as a must - give yourself the ST 4 AG 4 blodge ballcarrier with high mobility. Morg would be intriguing, but I would much rather have Griff (AG 4 dodge) vs Morg (AG 3 no dodge) for getting into/out of a tight spot with the ball.
Bribe (100) Is better than an apoth here - since you can not apoth stars - and they will be your key players, an extra apoth is not worth it. However, since he has an MBPO player - having a bribe is useful to toss some fouls in with your rookie linefodder
Babe (50) Again, babes are key here as they can help get your stars back on the field.
Wizard (150) may fizzle, sure - but have to go with it really. Getting a MB hit on some of his key players is worth the cost here.
So essentially, your suggestion except bribe instead of apoth and zara instead of zug and 1 of the babes.

I was gonna suggest considering a chef while this blog was in its infant stage (about 12 bb time, thank you clocky) and also beg you to take a bribe.
The chef is so hit and miss though at 300k. And I also didn't see that he has a leader. You can figure to at least take the leader RR away both halves. But still 3 is enough. You could even get away with 2 against not so much tackle. If would really be an all or nothin on the chef and hope for 3 4+ in one of the halves to make it really worth it.
Humans can get a chainsaw. Make him think twice before he PO's.. And against 6av woo. Just got to be smart with it, something I rarely accomplish. And with the bribe (or 2) you can maybe even get him for both halves. I think fouling when you manage to get a key player down (even on failed actions: leap, dodge ect) is your key to victory.
Griff is nice because he comes with all his own RR's.. I can't remember if Zara's (st4?) stay line so won't speak on that.
