Yes it has really happened. That glorious stat freak, superstar Squig Hopper that is Big King has met an untimely demise!

Squig hoppers are good. But when one develops Blodge, S5 and Ag5 they are magnificent. There have been a few freakish ones, but his attributes were perhaps the best seen. Big King carried our Hellmouths team many times, particularly with his cage breaking leaping, dodging and power. Great on defence and offence.

I first used the team almost 8 years ago. Not many matches in the last few years, but rather vexing to lose such a player so close to legend.
I have had at least 4 quality superstar players that I have thought I would use my one healing scroll on if ever they got a bad perm. But they always get straight killed! After a match last week I was thinking perhaps just another 5 matches left and he would be legend. Though the remaining teams used in Stunty Leeg are usually rather powerful and a threat. Also if I had sponged the niggle he got a few games ago he would just have been KO'd! Hindsight eh.
I daresay I could have used him less aggressively when our numbers dwindled but that wouldn't be right.

Media are exclaiming about how when he so often carried the team did he only get 4 MVPs in 32 matches. Wouldn't happen if he had always played in this era :D
