Fiat 500
No, I dont speak about the car! Fiat is latin for "let it be done" (or thereabout) and 500 can both point out that I have played 500 games or more accurate what I plan to do with my next 500 games.
With that in mind......
I just realised that I passed 500 games here and what really made me think about it was that last week I played Geggster. A coach that I personally think is really good. However, I happened to win that match and it can ofcourse be blamed on nuffle cause he had some bad luck, but so did I, but at the end of the match he pointed out my stats.
He basicly wondered how I could have such a crappy stat when I had a solid game. Not like a legend or anythng but I played Khemri and pretty much by the book and no fancy or funny elf stuff.
Me passing the 500 mark alongside with that I nowdays play quite alright. No legend, but neither a novice either, so... At this point I have pretty much lost twice as much as I have won, but so it looks quite crappy to say the least, but...
Have I really tried to win? To be honest, ofcourse I would like to win every match but have I really taken all my experience and tactical advantages to the battle? No, I dont think so and thats what this is all about...
Can I turn it around before I ge to 1000?
I had already played 7 matches before I noticed I had reached the 500 mark and 2 of the games where with gobos so I dont count them as really competitive but I have 4 wins and 1 loss and the loss is to Jeffro, which I hade no shame losing against cause he is a division or 2 above when it comes to BB, so it looks quite good.
The only problem I see so far with this "plan" is to keep track of when I reach the 600 mark :)

You could keep track of it on your coach profile, W-D-L for the first 100, second 200 matches etc. Update after every game. It's good for motivation, too. ;) I sometimes happen accross coaches who play solid but have a bad record, always makes me wonder. And as for the Legend tag, it's overrated. :D
Your win rate is 38 % right now so to get it back up to 50 % you'd need to average 62 % over the 500 games. Not easy but doable. Good goal. Best of luck with it!

I'm not that good. I'm a sham. The coach equivalent of smoke and mirrors. If you lost to me, you either aren't very smart, were half asleep, drunk, had bad dice, or a Mickey-Finn-combo of those. Good luck getting better, though! ;D

Hehe thank you both for wishing me luck, as I definently need it, but just to clarify, I dont mean legend as in the "legend tag" rated in the fumbbl as I mean legend as a really good player :)

I first joined here as a noob to blood bowl and got torn apart for ages. Still have more losses than wins after 2,000 games in the black box but it is getting closer as far as I can tell!
