A thought on orc-teams
Is it only me, or are more and more new orc-teams named in a ashamed and excusing way now, than for lets say 6 months ago? (i.e. Another orc team, Dull Orcs, Orcs again and so on).

My answer to that question is not unexpectedly yes.

And since I think its dead boring to meet orcs nowadays I like the thought of orc-coaches feeling ashamed creating or playing an orc-team. Maybe one day the guilt will be so strong that we wont have all the greenskins in the majors. (read: coaches that has played a lot and knows the game, this is not meant to rookie-coaches of course).

Orcs are far too powerful, its just a fact and they are easily the best race. Dwarves are really weak against some races, Orcs have no weakness to anyone. But thats fine because I like a challange, the bigger problem is just that they are really really dull to play against and all the team builds you come across are exactly the same. I am still hoping to see an Orc team that can play a passing game one day or is at least a bit different.

I've seen Orcs that were very capable of a good passing game and it's really my greatest issue with them, orcs have enought agility, give them a skilled thrower (easy to get) and a couple of +ag blitzers (not that hard to have) and you have an av9 basher team that can relliably play ball...
(I just hope that lrb6 Claws make this issue a bit more fun)
(I know Claw is not esentially better now, but more readily abailable)

Orc roster would be fine with 2 BoBs... anyway I <3 my veggies and I think I'm not playing them the "dull way" :) maybe that's why I'm not a "good coach" in terms of winning.

So... Why would you be ashamed of playing Orcs? They're just the same as all the other BB races, with their strenghs and weaknesses.

For all those who complain about them being overpowered I say: Play better and you will win more, regardless of which team your opponent plays.

I wouldn't say they are the same, because they don't have any weaknesses. But I don't think anyone should be ashamed, you should only be ashamed if you only play with Orcs and no other races.

I think they are overpowered and there arent many races which can beat them with equal dice.

orcs one of the good races, but not better than dark elves, high elves and probably also not better than woodies, rats, chaos (in high TR) and maybe dorfs

especially vs agility teams they are usually not that strong

so no reason to be ashamed when playing orcs imo
