Flings LFG
As blogged not so long ago, I'm currently travelling in South America. I'm leaving tomorrow (if the weather isn't apocalyptic) for a walk through remote mountains (no, not the gringo trail) to Machu Picchu. I'll probably be back in 5-7 days. But since I have to wait to continue my trip - to recieve my kayak from home to go through the jungle if you wanna know, I'll have time for a few more games when I'll return to Cusco. And I want one of them to be epic: I donlt know when I'll be able to play another one.
I came up with a list of opponents. You may not fancy them all, but there's a whole story behind. So tell me which one you favour (or in case I'm talking about one of your teamz, if you wanna play).
- DaveH's Marauders: we had numerous games, and the Sammiches vs the Marauders are a classical rivalary. I have the feeling if we play again, a new weather roll called 'pouring blood' will be added. We litterally destroyed each other's team in the past, and we will do it again. He's the gobo coach I respect the most, because he's a great guy, but also because of all the blood our teams bathed in together. Unfortunately, he hasn't logged in in weeks, but maybe if the cheers are loud enough...
- Zed's Left my Heart in San Francisco: tell me about rivalries... The two most famous fling teams, yet we only played one game. The GLT stunty qualifer final. The Sammiches won the game but they still have a bitter taste in the mouth. Just watch the replay to understand why. Again, that'd be a bloodbath.
- Rabe's Agility Monsters: we played once, and if I'm not mistaken, the Sammiches were the first fling team to defeat the dorfs. I hate dorfs. I love the monsters. That says it all.
- BooAhl's Helena High: again, we only played one game, but that was my best game on fumbbl so far. We fought like real bloodbowlers, and destroyed each other's team. We were tied at t16. I would have given anything for going OT.
- Kryten's Punish the Monkey: this case is pretty unique. I yet have to play against Kryten, let alone this team. Yet, I still feel robbed from my game against him last GLT. I just have to play against them. Period.
And last but not least...
- the_sage's flings, Operation CR: that's a long story... My very first game in R was against the Scale Models. the_sage created the team to play against my flings. He's a way better coach than I am. We had numerous games since then, and he always beat me. He's the only person on fumbbl to have a 9/0/0 record vs me, so nomatter what happens, either of us would get a badge for this game. Yet, I yet have to abbandon all my pride, and I still think I'm the better stunty coach. So youll have to prove me wrong if you want that badge, mate, in which case I'll bow to my master. (The only issue would be my last but one game was against the_sage, but the admins won't mind, will they?)

Funny how the Monsters are pretty much the only team that does not have the word "blood (bath)" in you story... :-D

All are good choices, but my vote is for the Agility Monsters because I'm a huge fan. And ignore the Ranked haters. Box people who are seeking new victims just make me laugh.

Bestest challenge one could put out and way to play TT. Hiking through what is left of the wilderness and playing TT, i think this one is hard to beat. Kudos!

Thanks, but actually I'm mainly able to play because I'm on a break, preparing the next part of my trip. I still do a few hike to pass times but that's it (and yeah, btw I didn't leave today: the rainy season at high altitude isn't fun, especially when to have to walk in the clouds).
Good news concerning the XFL. Playing several rounds may be complicated, but I'll find a way. I guess I'll have to report this game if the tourney is so close: my team seems to be in a pretty good shape atm... good enough for the very least.

Both rolls a d6 i think to see how many rr they lose, not like stars who just doesn't shop up if both sides have taken it. Kam i like your team so i wouldn't want to see them dissapear -) Let's say the loser will have to roll a D 16 on main chat and fire the player with the result number, good for you ?

And yeah, each coach rolls a die if we both have a chef. That's what happened against Zed last time: he rolled a 6, I rolled a 1. :P
