The Sammiches now count a new legend: Tom Vampling.

Vampling had to survive multiple gang fouls and return twice from the KO box against The_Sage's Accepting Hopelessness to steal a Touchdown and grind that one missing SPP.

Over the years, the Sammiches have had several legends, who have all added a new dimension to the team:

Pipin Piethrower: not a legend according to the NAF ranking, but he was the brightest star the team ever had. The Sammiches are famous for their psycho trees - he was the fling version. Pipin was the epitome of selfishness. Everything was about him when he was on the pitch. He made it to the top of the Flings Cas list, and held the record for more than a year.

Bob Berserkling: the guy who rolled 4 double 6, the stat freak... That guy could single handedly win games. There was nowhere to hide when he was on the pitch, no safe place. He was a monster, but he also was too perfect, and not as much fun as Pipin.

Garion Winling: the boring one. How did he become a legend? I'm not sure. He wasn't special. I probably wouldn't remember him if he wasn't in the team's bio.

Bob Ratling: the crazy one. He made his début in a GLT as TTM material, and won the qualifier. He then realized that injuring opposing players was cool too, and bashed his way to 176 SPP. But he got bored again, and invented a new way of playing Stunties: halfballing. Even though he's no longer #1, he has literally created the Flings passing top list.

And finally, there's the new one:

Tom Vampling: that guy is kinda special. He's the most selfless fling I've ever had. Usually, fling legends are the most egotistic players you can imagine, but not this one. He's on the pitch to help his team mates shine. He's all about helping the team. He will grab that ball in multiple TZ and pass it to Master Tree or any fling in range. He will fly or run to save games when no one else is able to. He's the guy who fixes mistakes, who perform incredible moves so his team mates can stay in the competition. A truly unique fling, for sure.
