Last Friday was my last day at my old job and I start me new one on the 9th January... so I have so much DIY to do on the house it is not funny.
On Monday - I finished sanding the house
On Tuesday - I went and painted my friends new wargaming shed. 6x9m lined and insulated in plasterboard. 3hrs with the Wagner ProjectPro 117 and it is all done. including 2 coats, 2 cups of tea, lunch and a dash off to the hardware store for another can of paint.
Yesterday - I ripped down all of the trim on one of the gables, sheeted over the damaged asbestos and redid the trim.... 35°C and I must have climbed onto the roof at least half a dozen times.
Today - cut out masking shields for the windows and doors and just finished the first 15 litres of paint. only another 3 or 4 to go before all the weatherboards are done!
Why do I love my Wagner?
1. it has only taken me 2 hours what will have taken me a whole day (at least) with a brush.
2. it does a better job than me with a brush.
3. doing it myself is going to save me around $15,000 after materials.
but the most important reason is
4. I am a bloke who just can't help enjoying playing with his 'boys toys'.
my mate with the wargaming shed is now got his beady eyes on my TOY.
I need to get the whole house painted before the 9th December.... so if anyone feels like helping me out, feel free ;-)

Tell your mate to get his own sprayer. If he can afford a wargaming shed....

Sounds like you should come over here once you're finished ;)
