After the success (of the programme, not the Outcasts) of CIBBL's "All or Nothing: Waystone Outcasts" show that followed the Half-Elves disastrous tour of the Haunted Hills in Spring Year 7, those wacky CIBBL marketers have come up with something new for the viewing public.

The new show "Who's Inside the Outcasts?" will follow an individual player through a game, displaying their highs and lows, and giving some insight into the players beneath the beautiful hairdo's.





A founding member of the team (and one of only 3 still on the roster currently), Sarrion displayed greatness straight away in an eventful 2nd game for the team.

Year 6 Winter vs Quetza Coatlācah (Lizardman)

We see a fresh faced Sarrion alone in the backfield as the game kicks off, her hair shorter and paler than it is now. With the Lizardman pressing hard on the line of scrimmage Sarrion immediately detects an opportunity, scoops up the ball and unleashes a beautiful long pass to catcher Olavaris who sprints towards the endzone. Some skinks try and scramble back, but Olavaris bursts through and the Outcasts first ever touchdown is scored!


The game progresses, but despite some valiant plays the Outcasts can't prevent the hulkish Meztli from rumbling over the line to end the first half. With Quetza Coatlācah spreading the play wide in the second half, Sarrion tries to anchor the top half of the pitch. Meztli crashes into her, and it appears the hit is so brutal that Sarrion is dead on the field! With the medical stuff rushing out on the pitch we see it is just a nasty cut and a brief knock out.

Sarrion recovers to take the field for the final turn, and demonstrates her gritty resolve to playing through injury.


Year 7 Autumn - Wood vs Hammers of the White Wolf (Ulric)

Jump forward to the last game of the Wood division, where the Outcasts needed a win to secure the title. The Outcasts drove down the field and Sarrion threw a simple TD pass to Eloise Galain, whilst the Hammers slowly smashed their way through the screening players.



With the Outcasts reduced to 6 players on the field and both blitzers out/downed, Sarrion took the team on her back and single handedly caused enough trouble to prevent the Hammers from equalizing.

First by trying to even up the numbers, dealing out some punishment to a Hammers lino...


Then by getting up close and personal with the ball carrier and impeding progress...


...then finally sacking the carrier!

Swiftly followed by slipping on the blood and knocking herself out, but the Hammers failed to retrieve the ball before the final whistle went, and the Outcasts secured their Wood title.


Year 7 Winter vs Purple Horde (Hung)

After the Autumn success, the Outcasts arranged a friendly vs the Purple Horde. The Outcasts expected an exhibition atmosphere and the chance to show off some of their beautiful skills (and hair), nobody had told the Hung team, and they tore into the Outcasts, killing promising line-elf Jolie Ansar, and injuring Ariel Anstar and Siphanien Perqen in the first 3 turns.

Starting the second half with only 7 players, and down 1-0, Sarrion showed her playmaking ability, The Outcasts line had crumbled, their players were down, and Purple Horde players were bearing down in the backfield...

Sarrion receives the ball, dodges away from the grasping hands of the darksoul and unleashes a beautiful pass to Jérôme Jenfyre as he streaks into open space.

The Purple Horde safety just manages to scramble back and trip Jenfyre and the ball spills to the floor, Sarrion also trips and it looks like the Outcasts are done for. But Jenfyre leaps to his feet, and keeps the Hung players from escaping with the ball, Skyler Jéteri clears a path, and Sarrion leaps into action...

.. and she completes a dart of a pass in the face of two opposition players, Jenfyre catches it in traffic and zooms off to score! With that pass Sarrion also became the outright yardage leader in CIBBL, surpassing 300 yards!


Year 8 Spring - Southlands and Araby vs Nordlig Savage Jaws (Savage Orc)

And so now we are right up to the present day, and the Outcasts are playing their final game of the Spring season, with a win guaranteeing them second place behind the legendary Nejaz Djinn. The Savage Jaws receive, and attempt to break through the Outcasts line early, but Jugor trips and the ball is loose!

Sarrion is far off in midfield, but spies Rylee Mareena making a move towards the endzone. Sarrion scoops up the ball and launches a long bomb downfield, but unusually for her it is errant and floats into the crowd!

The Outcasts recover the thrown ball easily enough and Anstar waltzes in for a TD. The Savage Jaws manage to equalize after some over zealous defending and a complete inability to bring down Jugor in multiple attempts.


With time expiring in the first half, the Outcasts break through the Savage Jaws line and Sarrion's quick pass releases Jennev Moire into open space, and it looks like nothing can stop a second score. Except the Savage Orc Wizard intervenes, and star player Kolath Head-Ripper makes enough trouble to stop the score as the half ends.


The Outcasts receive the ball in the second half and waste no time pushing some catchers deep. With the Savage Jaws failing to put any pressure on, Sarrion delivers a trademark dart of a pass to Mareena for another TD


Down a score the Savage Jaws again try to break through quickly, and Jugor displays his own passing skills releasing Zgurtz-Ba deep into Outcast territory. Again the orcs failure to wear proper sporting equipment catches them out as Zgurtz-Ba trips over his own toes, and Sarrion is nearby to scoop up the ball, but blitzer Kalden Necur is bearig down on her...

Sarrion effortlessly evades the challenge, stunning the orc in the process, while downfield the Outcasts blitzers deal with Head-Ripper. With Rylee Mareena freed up it is a simple matter for Sarrion to drop a pass right into her hands, and she streaks off to score her 2nd of the game.

The Outcasts push hard for a turnover and a 4th score, but the valiant Savage Jaws players fight through for a consolation score. Sarrion takes a knock from Head-Ripper at the end of the game, but no serious damage. Sarrion breaks the 100 completions barrier, and becomes a CIBBL Mega Star! She has earned a deserved rest, but will be back for game two of the Summer tournament.
