And what a legend! Thursdaynight began his career back in LRB4, skilling up seven times without suffering a single aging penalty along the way. Now, since the implementation of the new rules, Thursdaynight has a grand total of 14 skills to his name - although there are a couple of them he's never tried using.
It didn't happen overnight. With no talent for anything except hitting things that were too slow, or too stupid, to run away, racking up the SPPs took a long, long time. Most games he did nothing but stand still for long periods, or get knocked down and failed to get up again. A lot of teams left him all alone in the centre of the pitch, and others piled in and gave him far too much attention, especially with spiked boots and chainsaws, but all things considered, he survived pretty much intact.
As his skill set increased, however, so did his game. More and more he ended the game with a casualty or two to his credit and was regularly voted MVP for his performance.
And when injuries finally began to reduce his effectiveness to the point of pointlessness, Coach Stikki decided to award him a healing potion, to rid him of his two niggling injuries and give him back that extra bit of movement.
Recently he's been more active than ever. Not only does he control the centre in most matches, he's taken to blitzing, using his Pro ability to go for it and surprise many opposing players who thought they were safe enough four squares away!
He's also begun to show off a little, completing a pass and catching an interception (while in two tackle zones) and one of his main ambitions now is to score a touchdown - something he's never done in 426 games.
Bit his main ambition is still a long way from being achieved. He wants to have been awarded the MVP more times than any other player on FUMBBL. Although he's already achieved this for Ranked Division, there are still a group of 1x1 players who sit ahead of him in the Top List and he feels it's only right that a proper, team-based player, finishes up on top.
