Welcome, everyone, to another SWL season thread!
The best league on fumbbl edges in on the big century, just one more until there's just one more!
The season draft is done, a feast of new teams will join the 33 odd returners, including our first new Vamps (with the old Vamps grandfathered and into Premier division). QPool awaits the Trial games, apply your teams to the group and ping swladmin, or me, if you need in.
Team Redrafts ended up in last season's thread, check 'em out for those returning.
Those redrafts are due Saturday the 14th of October, we'll force through what we can before kickoff if not done yourself, and if we can't fix it, you'll probably have to park.
If you want to unpark, or join with a new squad, PM Irgy.

- Schedule
First round of two weeks will begin on Monday the 16th of October with weekly deadlines thereafter and a round 7 deadline on the 11th of December!
- Structure
We should have 1 Premier, 2 Conferences, and 1-2 Regional divisions.
New Rules
- Vamps! The new squad is in, knine's got a team.
- Forfeit wins will gain 2 randomly placed MVPs (in the form of 2x4 added SPP), and 1d6 x 10k gold. For end of season tiebreakers, a forfeit win counts as a 1-0 victory.
- Star players continue to join the league in good order, everyone wants to play SWL, even Morg!
Recently Implemented
- Changes to the Rock, Paper & Scissors system to help with league balance.
- Regionals promotion / relegation changes.
General Reminders
- Axing
If you get no response, or a no-show, or people who just have no time available, or any other scheduling troubles, like needing a couple days extension, send a fumbbl site PM before 10pm on the Monday due dates and include swladmin.
- General
Please be aware that we rely on individual coaches to be active in checking this forum, arranging games against opponents, and in communicating with Admins. The responsibility is on the coach to enquire, not the Admins to inform. Please feel free to ask any questions, any time.
- Communication
Contact your opponent early, if you have anything to share. If you get no response to a site PM in 24 hours, do try a discord ping in your scheduling channel, and if you get no response to a discord ping in 24 hours, do use a site PM. Likewise, please respond to people in a timely fashion, even if it's just to say when you can likely respond with more info.
- BB20 Rule Amendments
We will endeavour to maintain our rules as close as possible to those of BB20 in regards to FAQ and Errata changes, taking into account the nature of our league. Rules not yet implemented in the client or website are normally considered sleeping rules, and can be expected to be applied as they are enabled.
Our agents fees are 15k per season, ignoring the player's first three post-season redrafts (including the Trial of Blood for those who played it). Player agent fees will be listed in due course in the season threads, along with redraft budgets.
If you're having trouble with redrafting, please do ask for help.

They said the time of the of easy Clawy Carnage was gone. That the followers of the Gods were past it and the power of murdering all the mens had past. Well Grod and his Questionable Ethics proved them wrong. Ironic, that only 'fear being an option' in the face of their tidal wave of mutilation kept them from a perfect season.
The Top 3 of All Time also the top three of last season. The one thing is certain, the SWL Prem season is set to sizzle!
