After running a few drills the coach decided to do a 7 vs 7 practice game to assess the squads abilities and see how the potentials fitted in with the rest of the team.

7 vs 7 game

Stabler, Tim Brown, Damontre Moore and the injured Looney skipped out 7 vs 7 game, with stabler on the sidelines to look at both of his potential backup players.

The teams were at follows:

Team A:

Thrower - Nassib
Blitzer - Van Hoosengold
Blitzer - Te'o
Ogre - Cole
Lineman - Fragel
Lineman - Johnson
Catcher - J.Brown


Team B:

Thrower - Dysert
Blitzer - Bostic
Blitzer - Toilolo
Lineman - Clowney
Lineman - Blake
Lineman - Turner
Catcher - Legeux

Game started with Team A receiving. Fragel and Johnson supported Van Hoosengold and Cole in knocking Blake and Turner down with Turner getting turned over by Cole. Fragel and Johnson then ran up to support Te'o as he rushed Clowney and knocked him over leaving Fragel looming over him. Brown moved up just behind the centre line and Nassib picked up the ball with no problem. Clowney stood up to face Fragel and Blake stood up to Van Hoosengold. Turner continued to roll around on the floor while Legeux streaked past him to put him right in Nassib's face. Toilolo rushed the opposite side of legeux to help with coverage while Bostic blitzed Fragel but could neither knock him down or push him back. Cole then moved to mark Blake and Van Hoosengold dodged away from Blake to hit Legeux off Nassib. He nearly tripped but managed to regain his feet and smashed Legeux to the floor. This allowed Nassib to make an accurate pass to Brown who ran through and managed to score.

Team B receiving this time and With Turner helping Bostic knocked down Johnson then Blake and Toilolo and teamed up to blitz down Te'o. Clowney also knocked over the other lineman Fragel but once again was held in place by the lineman. Turner, Toilolo and Blake made a loose cage for Legeux to move into. Dysert then picked up the ball with the smallest of slip ups being quickly corrected then let loose a short pass to Legeux. Cole was told to blitz Blake but just turned round to look at the coach in bewilderment. The rest of the team scrambled to try and cover the mistake but a slip up from Fragel allowed Team B to move quickly and easily to score.

At this point the coach called an end to proceedings for the day and retired back to his office to mull over his options
