Back in November, I posted about some plans I had for the next couple months. Let's see how they're coming along.

Take my [ B] Norse beyond 1600 TV and kick the crap out of some Clawpombing Chaos teams! Also, take them into Crown of Sands and try to beat my 3rd round Black Cup entry. Maybe complete a Sprint (but in truth, not very likely).

Well with some setbacks, I managed to take them to almost 1600 with too little gold in the bank, then CoS arrived and they got crushed in the 1st round match. I made some huge mistakes that I don't normally make, which were probably due to those ninja monkeys attacking me during the match, while my wife was asking me which underwear suited her best and the cat knocked over my monitor. That, or I was nervous. Either way, the Norse are battered pretty hard and I don't really have the stomach for rebuilding them right now.

Take a shot at Human Conference (though again, completing 16 matches not very likely).

I did it, yay! 16 matches in two months doesn't sound much, but to me it is! Playing Humans was challenging even at low TV. Still, I had expected to do somewhat better than my mediocre record of 4/5/7. I blame some of it on the learning curve – I never played Humans before – and I do feel that luck wasn't much on my side either. I would really like to prove I can do better next season, but getting in the 16 games involved a two week Christmas holiday and I don't know whether I can repeat it without.

Play my [R] Woodies more. Maybe build up a team to enter into Ulthuan Invitational.

I played a little but the Human Conference sprint had priority so it wasn't much. Also had to make a new team after losing some positionals early on. Woodies are really fun to play, I like them a lot. If I want to build them up for Majors, though, I need to play them much more, which competes yet again with the Human Conference sprint. Ah, choices...

Try Norse “as intended” (with all positionals) in [R]. Maybe build up a team to enter into GLT Forlorn Races Qualifier.

Entered a Norse team in a RRR, lost in second round. Put them on the game finder whenever I did look for [R] matches but save for one time, the Woodies got picked first. Team is showing potential, though. I keep applying them for Scheduled SMACKs but no luck so far!

Defend my league title with my Darkies.

Currently looking good, topping the records with 5/1/0 mid-season. :D

So, overall, more than I expected but less than I wanted. So many matches to play, so little time... Also, I started another Darkie team in the Box. :P
