Hello people.

Those that follow my blogs may notice that I am back playing after a down time of around a month due to my job change. I am settling nicely, thanks for asking! Anyway, the move has made me realise something about this community. Basically I am in a new area with no friends close by, but I know I can still always fall back on you guys. If I could initiate a group hug I would.

Recently I managed to get a day of playing in and I played against I coach that the previous time I played was in 2003. I lost back then, but this time revenge was mine! It made me think of all the changes in my life since then, pretty much the only constant has been fumbbl. Yes people leave, rules change, clients change etc., but I am still here, along with many others.

I have shared many experiences with the coaches on here, I have seen coaches progress through life from college to marriage and on to fatherhood. There have been happy times, and sad times (I still miss you Cusi and always will). Many a time has doom been prophesied for Fumbbl and so far it has lived on. When times are hard for Christer we can always rely on the community to rally round to get things started again.

Basically with so much negative feelings going around it can sometimes be hard to see how great everyone on here really is. (And don't worry Chappy you will beat me in our next game in 2021!)
