Piling On Dirty Player
PODP... or better yet, DPPO ;)

Wasn't there something in a previous edition that was the equivalent of spearing?!? You'd foul a guy that was on the ground and your player would end up prone and you'd add a +something to the armour or injury roll?!?.. I think you even had to get a running start..? Someone help me remember what that was (or if it was a house rule that my TT league made up back in the days of 2nd edition)?!?

Regardless... that needs to come back. There's clearly not enough blood on the pitch.

I think you are referring to dirty tackle.

Although I seem to recall something about spiking.

many moons ago in 3rd edition I think, PO was adding your St to the Av roll etc (cant recall if it included inj roll) so was very popular with mummies :)

Second Ed (red) Companion book detailed Spearing an opponent (page 12 of the book) and added +1 to the ST of the fouler but placed him prone and required an injury roll. This is of course when all blocking, fouling etc was calculated on 2d6 and a table look-up.

The "Booting" table allowed you to kick an opponent and the skill "Mighty Kick" added 1 to the result.

Oh the memories :D
