Browns vs Steelers
Somehow this just seemed to be a blood bowl game. Steelers had suffered a minimum of 5 casualties and the Browns did a 2nd half turn 8 foul! Then see the scrum that followed!

In all seriousness that guy Garrett should be suspended for the rest of the season. That is funny in blood bowl but deplorable in real life.

Pouncey too, the guy threw several punches and kicked Garrett in the head while he was down. I think Rudolph will get a minor suspension as well.

Browns were dirty. Minimum 3 of them should be suspended. I would also agree about Pouncey suspension, for the headkick. I would say wrestling away an opponent who is slamming on the head of the QB is not THAT serious to warrant suspension.

I think the most dirty play might have been done by Randall. That executioner hit on the head was totally unnecessary, avoidable, and also huge blow that eliminated the victom from that game, and from a number of other games.
That was bigger blow than the helmet slam on Rudolf. The target has concussion, and was also bleeding from his ear.

Suspending someone for life because he lost his head once, in basically a combat situation, after years of being hit in the head.. Seems excessive.
This is the price of football

Hell, you can get a lifetime ban just for kneeling down.

From viewing the footage, The Steelers QB was the one accelerating it by holding on to Garrett in the first place. Garrett should not hit him with the helmet, but still. The real aggressor here is Steelers QB. Sure he was slammed to ground, so what... But holding on Garretts helmet after that is the real point of conflict IMO.

Re SpecialOne - I think we must be looking at different things. Must be.

You can't hit a helmetless guy with your helmet. Just like you can't shoot him with a gun. Doesn't matter what he did to you.

I hope his salary is forfeit while he is banned for the rest of the season. Nutter. Was quite the spectacle though. And then Rudolph got knocked down again! Though indeed he did seem to start the helmet grabbing.
The Browns coach looks a bit of a mess himself..

@koadah He's a second-string QB and a headcase. NFL proved this week it's not a ban. My advice to CK (and everybody) is to stop believing things that aren't so.

If he'd killed him by hitting him in the head with a blunt object where would you stand now? 1st, 2nd degree murder? Manslaughter?
