Normally, despite being a mindless drone, I don't mind my job, but recently, we've been asked to help support a new center in another country. This would not even be bad, if the agents there:
a)Had training
b)Spoke English
c)Used computers outside of work.
The following chat WITH A TECH SUPPORT AGENT has been changed only enough to protect my job.
Mac> Hello, thank you for contacting Support. How may I help you ?
Agent> Hi there Mac. "Name" here from "Foreign Center". If customer configured OE for their emails, all their emails will be routed there right?
Mac> No, just the ones on the logins they set up there
Agent> What do you mean?
Mac> Part of outlook set up is entering a username.
Agent> And how are they going to download current emails from their webmail to OE?
Mac> If they put in their "company" username, then it collects "company" emails
Agent> And they do not need to open their webmail?
Mac> Correct
Agent> How are they going to download their current emails to OE?
Mac> By opening OE and clicking Send/Receive
Agent> And all the emails from their webmail inbox will download? I am soory, this is the first time I have this issue. I already help her configure OE. Just want to make sure I am giving her correct instructions.
Mac> I'm sorry, but I've answered the question already. If you do not know how email clients work, talk to a TL about getting some training time on them
Agent> thanks!
Mac> Do you have any other questions for me today?

Rate high if you think I have a right to be annoyed (about 25 of this type in a day), low if I should be happy.
