I just lost my 12th straight match!
The riot is right outside the Buccaneers HQ. All 127 fans are going bat crazy nuts. They wield torches and pitch forks. Burning Krikack game day jerseys and a likeness of coach is hanged and burning in the back ground.
Coach looks out the window watching the crazy fans. The door opens up and JJ Jones Jr, owner and privateer, walks in.
"Coach this is bad. The fan base is so upset that they are camped out in front of our HQ in riot mode. Look at them! they are pissed and they might attempt to burn this place to the ground!"
Coach looks out the window again and just laughs.
"Those losers out there are not going to harm a fly. In fact Iam amazed we still have 127 fans left that actually care to the point of having a protest riot."
"This is not good coach. How did it come to this?"
"Simple really. Krikack hits the RIP bin. We are rebuilding the squad from the ground up and NUFFLE is using us like a disposable butt wipe. That is how you go on a 12 game losing stretch."
JJ looks bewildered, scraches his head.
"JJ, you are aware that we are on a 12 game losing stretch and the we cannot seem to pass a 2+ roll if our lives depend on it. But looking out this window if it hits a 20 game slide our lives might depend on a 2+ roll."
"Coach you know I do not watch the matches. I watch the gold and the bussines side of things. In fact we have, like, no gold man! I told you to rebuild the team not blow over a million gold in 35 matches! What are you guys doing down here? Having all night parties, ladies of the night live here now on the Bucs dime?"
"It takes Gold JJ to rebuild and rebuild I have. The win/loss is bad right now but I have found a good crop of recruites with that money. Iam confident that this is just a rough patch. We are building back up in fine form and we are on the verge of blowing some teams up real soon."
"Well I hope you are right coach. The fan base is gone, the money is gone, the riot is at our front gate and we are turning into a sinking ship fast."
JJ turns and leaves and slams the door. Coach once again looks out the window and watches the Bucs last 127 fans going crazy. Coach smiles and thinks that atleast he has 127 fans still backing him and the Bucs. Only a fan who wants to win that bad would show up with a torch and pitch fork.
Coach sits back down at his table going over the last match report, watching match replays and burning them after one viewing.
Bucs are 1/2/17 in their last 20!

Time to go a different direction maybe?
You could go:
* 4 catchers & elf ball it
* lame-style min-max with a legend blitzer, and 10 rookie linos or jmen
* Fire them all & start fresh with an average build & no big guy
* Take a break & play stunty / league / black box for a month
* Try 4 blitzers, a thrower, and 6 or 7 linos (a running team)
* something else?
You could go:
* 4 catchers & elf ball it
* lame-style min-max with a legend blitzer, and 10 rookie linos or jmen
* Fire them all & start fresh with an average build & no big guy
* Take a break & play stunty / league / black box for a month
* Try 4 blitzers, a thrower, and 6 or 7 linos (a running team)
* something else?

Well I was looking over the roster and I have 2 spots still left open.
So maybe go 10 more matches...see how it plays out. And then drop 140K and hire two more catchers.
Or dump the long range plan jugger catcher who I have, who needs to get to 76+SPP for the buld to be complete and start fresh with 3 rookie catchers.

Nuffle will usually hand you 1 in 10 games easy-peasy, so you are indeed in a slump there. But you must admit, you play like a maniac. Fouls, piling-on, 1d blocks galore. You bleed re-rolls. Could you play a bit more.. er.. dare I say it.. conservative? That was stupid to even suggest, wasn't it?
I know not what it takes to play, survive, and enjoy a bash game in Ranked though.

Well here is the rational behind JUGGER on a catcher.
Sure feet, Sprint, Jugger, Daunt and Frenzy.
One of the blitzers/Ogre has grab.
Now it requires 2 pushes down field and the catcher can Blitz into the endzone instead of Leaping or dodging in.
Now when I did my nifty BB odds calculator program if everything on the front end goes good. The catcher has the ball 11 squares out. He has a 8% chance better blitzing in for the score COMPARED to leping into the endzone. Also if the other team is not paying attention and does the obligatory end line defense....HE CAN SURF into the endzone.
A ag3 catcher having to dodge in through a wall on the endline is stupid odds and only in desperation. The Blitz in comes in when all is accounted for at 28% chance and the leap in comes in at 21%.
But in the end it is a 76 SPP build on a player who has limited use.
