Cash
Cash in Blood Bowl seems an odd beat to me. You need it early on but once youve got a full compliment of players it just stock pile incase of the odd emergencey rebuild.

This is especially true with regen teams where the players dont die. I guess theres some cash sink with spiralling expenses but it does feel like quite a redundant part of the game.

If only it had more uses it might be more fun.

yes

aging and un-nerfed fouling used to use up cash.

no more, sadly, unless one gets unlucky was a pomby team

Similar to another game i used to play where you could invest money into your stadium and build more seats and stuff

Team building in general is a lot less interesting in CRP

If you've got 1m-odd sitting around you can always buy some inducements. I know your oppo will get them too, but it can still be fun and useful to practise with the stars for tourneys etc.

Might be the case with Regen teams, but with Rats it all gets used when 'that game' comes along :-P

If you play in Ranked you could start playing teams that are 10-40k above you. They think they get an easier game but then you buy a set of babes. They get 40k-10k inducements which buys them nothing! Or do the same with bribes and challenge teams that are anything between 10k to 90k above you.

All very much within the rules.

If you want a "friendly" feel to a game, just drop 100k on a spare apo. Your opponent gets one too (or an igor, if that's their thing). Or, if faced with a super-dodgy team that you don't have the Tackle to deal with properly, rent a chainsaw. What's an elf/zon team going to do with 100-130k that is better than that?

You can never hae enough cash....Cash on hand is a tool that is all. SO if you actually have 2 million gold sitting around...you got a very large tool box to work with.

BUT here is the problem...inless you are playing in a tournament. All that gold is pointless.

The bottom line: If you dont play in majors or minors, dont even worry about hording gold. Otherwise it is a solid plan for team building for a tournament

let me give an example:

you are a 2900 TV under dog. BUT you have 2 mil in cash.

Would you rather have 2 bribes and a babe OR

2 bribes and a wizard for 350,000 and give your opponeet a babe in return?

left out the stars for simpicity.

Once wizards are set up it will dramaticall change things.

a 2+ lightning bolt that can hit a player anywhere on the field, if used properly should result in a TO and a defensive TD for the coach who has the wizard

2900 TV disadvantage gets you a lot more than that....
