So after my loss in the KO Cup, next up was finishing my preparations for BB7s' mini-league with my lizard team.
And I Did Quite Well Really
So there I was, now ready for the mni-league to begin. And quite confident too : although I didn't have a perfect team, they did awesomely well in their prep games : 3-0-2 record, with 9-2 TDs and 9-10 CAS.
Well, I guess I did something wrong. And I mean really really wrong.
It seems I definately Wasn't meant To win
I had terrible luck in those matches, especially the first two and a half. And when it wasn't bad luck preventing me from showing some opposition, it was me playing awfully. Well at least I can say I fully deserved that part.
So yeah. I learned Nufflings aren't quite awesome. But mostly, I learned to keep my game up otherwise things will go bad even without the bad luck. By that 4th game I wasn't quite enjoying playing as much as I normally do, and could have gotten a much closer game if I had played at my best. Oh, and skinks get hurt really, really easily.
"Luckily", other obligations and a big fever got me a well timed break from the game. With one of my 2 online campaigns dropping (warhammer-empire seems to have rejected my proposition to include mercenary skavens), as did the fever and some of my work load, I'm now back and ready to turn that losing streak back into a winning streak!
