DLE fluff - Bilbali Rangers Ramiro Maextu under surveillance by authorities Vol.2
Bilbali Courier exclusive. Part 2

Evidence amounts versus Star Blitzer of the Rangers. Rumours abound that in the last game against Bruisers, his gloves were found in the hands of a fan who received them after the game. Unfortunately, it was a Bruisers fan claiming to have received them directly from the player. The gloves were customized to contain a huge metal fist within.

That might be the explanation behind the awesome blocking perfomance of the blitzer in this last game. Unfortunately, the link between the gloves shown by the fan and the player was not found convincing enough and thus the player is still free. Despite the player being under surveillance 24h per day (if we are to beleive local authorities), the gloves must have been delivered to him with some sneakey method.

The reason behind seems to be the Tilean bet dealers already mentioned by this newspaper before. Unofficial Bruisers officials reported to local authorities when coming to Bilbali for the game, that some thugs contacted them asking for the team to allow a 3-0 win for the Rangers (black market bet brokers were accepting 27-1 for such result). Bruisers fleed them away but the mafia tool, Mr. Maextu, was instructed to wreack havoc in the team and... so he did.

Rangers coach declined to make any comment except that the player trains hard and is very focused in the game. But Rangers staff can no longer deny something weird is surrounding this player.

The Bilbali Courier reporting staff received yesterday a very serious threat from unknown sources, but we believe it is linked with our will to uncover this criminal behaviour. We only hope we do this in time to save lifes.

Marco Pablordoqui (and 11 other reporters from the Courier staff), head reporter of the Bilbali Courier

Yes. this all looks very suspicious. Robbert Graaf might need to poke deeper into this.
