Ya-har...it be a sad day on the high seas...




The Fanzone is in mourning, but will continue to bring you up-to-the-minute coverage as Mimir's funeral is underway.


The Dreki sailed to a quiet spot in the Great Ocean, near where Mimir joined the crew as a rookie. He was decked out in his kit and uniform and wrapped in his hammock, as is tradition.

Weighed down with cannonballs, the surviving Kraken Helms Glámr and Draugen lowered their chief's body over the side, to sink deep into the briny and be lost forever.



Himminglaeva stepped forwards to pay tribute to her lost captain, raising a glass in his memory. As she drained the glass, she looked around the crew with a steely look in her eyes. Frøya and Bölge stood at her shoulders.

"I take over captaincy of the Dreki from now. Let any elf dispute this say their piece now."

Glámr and Draugen looked at each other, and then towards Frøya and Bölge, and looked down at the deck without saying a word.



The Dreki has returned to Aeghir's family, and sail ever on.
