Haul-away! Haul-away! Rise the anchor and haul away! The Dreki Fanzone sets sail once more into the uncharted waters of the CIBBL Summer Gobsmite Grudgemaker.

Representing his high gobness Blagga, the Dreki somehow got blown off course and missed the first fixture against the fearsome Predators of the Deep.
However, their course held true to the desert lands and their date with the Accomplishers of Phar's Will.

The Mahrak host started with the ball, driving forwards brutally. Both sides lost players before the Mahrak runner found some space in range of the endzone.

But, just in time, Torstein Hund and Haltija combined to knock the ball loose, and Himminglaeva swooped in and sent a spiralling pass to Havardr in acres of space.
The corsair would prove to be uncatchable. 1-0 Dreki.


Starting the second half, Himminglaeva dropped back with the ball while Draugen, Bölge and Stiorra surged forwards.

Caught in two minds, the Accomplishers surged forwards to pressurise Himminglaeva.
Of course, CIBBL's best thrower(tm) doesn't know the meaning of the word, and so when Bölge put Draugen in the open, Himminglaeva danced forwards and threw another perfect pass.

The Accomplishers came back for revenge, scoring and hurting several elves but the game finished 2-1 to the hearty corsair crew.

A good win, but tinged with sadness. During the first half Hefring had bravely put herself at the forefront of the defence, and had managed to push the star Jackal
Isop "The Fool" into the crowd.

However, finding herself on the ground she was unable to defend herself from the steel-capped boots of the skeletons and she was taken off the pitch with another serious head injury.

We suspect that Hefring has seen her last action on the Blood Bowl pitch, and we salute this stalwart of the Dreki's crew.
