Ahoy! Ahoy! We return for another fanzone. A new captain, a new era?

Himminglaeva appointed herself captain following the untimely death of Mimir last game. There was no time to settle in though, CIBBL Summer is in full swing and the team had to host the mighty Giants of Tartarox!

As it turned out, the captaincy seems to have inspired Himminglaeva and she produced one of her most complete performances to date


The Kraken Helms Glamr and Haltija kept most of the giants busy near the North widezone and Himminglaeva was able to stroll down the South to walk in one of her most simple TDs yet.

The Giants attempted to hit back, but they couldn't hide their ball carrying pixie from Torstein Hund, who danced through a screen and knocked the carrier down.

With the ball on the ground, Himminglaeva danced through several tacklezones, scooped up the soaking wet ball and popped a pass over to Bölge. A play few other players could have pulled off.

Before Bölge walked the ball in to put Dreki 2-0 up, Himminglaeva put in a big hit on one of the pixies, taking them out of the game and chalking up her very first casualty in CIBBL!


The best play came right before the full time whistle - the Giants had managed to keep a rolling drive going, and one of the pixies surged into scoring range.

New Corsair Kjellfrid made up a LOT of ground, tracking back and knocking the ball loose.

Well we all know what Himminglaeva can do with a loose ball, and she made no mistake with the pickup, the dodges or the monstrous pass through to Bölge, who strolled in for her second. 3-0.


We can all agree that was an assured performance from the Dreki, and Himminglaeva in particular.
