With a lot of online games you spend most of the time on other things. Debating on boards, chatting on IRC, and in some cases optimizing strategies with help of spreadsheets or something more advanced. I don't think this is so much different.

I have to say it's one of the strictest forums i've ever been on. Lots of locks and stuff. Don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, and I can't pretend to understand half of what's going on.

Meh, there's barely any trolling on these forums. There are repetitive memes and bad jokes, but very very little trolling.

I totally disagree that there are a lot of locks on this forum. Statistically, it seems to be proportionate to every other forum I am/have been a moderator on!

I have limited forum experience, but locking threads because the admins are bored of arguing / debating is a new one to me.

I am very pro a poll troll, because it sounds cool (not because I know what one is).

I like the forum - genuinely interesting conversations and very little trolling. People get a bit sensitive now and then but apart from that it's one of the better ones I've been on. Perhaps if I could wish anything it would be a larger variance in topics, while BB is interesting, some serious talk about films/games/other hobbies etc. would also be nice.
