I used to have a pair of Gerbils, their name's were Ger & Bill. If a fly got into their cage, they used to go mental trying to catch, diving around like goal keepers, so I think they'd have made good footballers.

I used to have a pair of Guinea Pigs too. Called Mr & and Mrs Guinea. They used to love it when you picked them grass, and start squealing. The also loved crapping in my lego box for some reason. When Mrs Guinea died, Mr Guinea moved from the garden into the garage, and was never seen again......

Mr & Mrs Guinea were bought to keep 'Rabbit' company, but they tended to ignore him a lot. Rabbit ate his own scut (rabbit's tail).

I don't think Mother Mouse has the same imagination as harvestmouse when it comes to giving names, and a team based on 'Fish of the 1986 gold fish tank' would certainly be illegal on this site. Fish 1, Fish 2, Fish 3.....

I had a gerbil named Wodan... scary mofo! Used to tickle my armpit with his CLAWS.
Lived in a coconut... used it to sharpen his CLAWS.

Now I've got a canary. Canaries are dumb. Too dumb to get bored. Sounds good right?

I am impressed with what you have done with my gerbil blog. Better discussion than most blogs get. I think this will be the first in a weekly series of "household animals" blogs.
