Sort of a change, sort of a new team but Snotling teams have transformed in to Troll teams because there is now an official Snotling team.

Trolls

Next up the list of rosters/races that have been Locked

meaning they will not change again Though obviously with the new edition on the horizon we will see all rosters updated, so this lock has less meaning than it used to. It does still mean me and the team of developers/testers are all happy with how these rosters are performing, their balance and so on. Anyway here is the locked list -

Half-Elf, Half-Orc, Night Goblin, Forest Goblin, Snakemen, Skryre, Giant, Gnoblar, Lumbria, Ogre Kingdom, Pirate, Ethereal, Estalia, Hobgoblin, Squig, Nippon, Daemons of Tzeentch

Finally the most painful part Changes to existing teams, most are pretty minor tweaks, there are one or two bigger ones. If end up with any strange players as a result of these changes like a player with Block twice for example then contact me and I will fix it.

Also if anyone wants to know more info about the changes then you can read about them on the relevant team page under Season 4 changes.

The changes –

Slaanesh - Slaangor 7347 horns PT, 100k

Khorne - lose mino gain blood beast, 140k 5528, loner, Wa, Frenzy, Claw, Thick Skull

Minotaur - Doombull gets av9 Bone Head 160k

Slayer Team - Linemen get Av8, plus dauntless. Pirate changed to slayer runner dropping strip ball for SH +MA 90k

Mahrak - AV9 +10k on the golden company

DoN - lose Guard on the Nurglings, gain Swarming, Monstrous mouth on PBs

Myrmidia - drop Dauntless for Jump Up

Undead Pirates - Lose loner on the captain

Strigoi get A access

Dust Goblins - Removed Disposable

Witch Hunters - Flagellants gain Thick Skull for free.

Flesh Golems - Swap Wrestle for Block on Patchworkmen

Daemons of Tzeentch - Pro on Greater Daemon

Elemental - +apo

Kislev - +Ma to wings, now 90k

Night Goblins now have a Stone Troll and Forest Goblins gain a River Troll, both in line with the one in the Troll team.

0-4 Fimm 6 3 2 9 Prehensile Tail GS 60k
0-2 Fianna Fimm 5 4 1 9 Prehensile Tail, Multiblock, Disturbing Presence GS 120k

N.B. sisters of sigmar are also possibly going to change in someway, but we are still thrashing this one out. So stay tuned to see what happens here. :)

A small suggestion: would be nice to have the tier of each SL team included in the roster. I know it's explained in the rationale, but would be nice to have it inside the roster grid too.

yeah Avelorn are fine. They are certainly tip top tier 1 like wood elves, almost as good as wood elves. Maybe even as good. But deffo not better.

Fiana Fimms seem overpriced compared to almost every other strength 4 player. Multiblock simply wastes space (tv wise even if it fits the flavor). The closest comparison is a Nurgle Bloater, who is cheaper, and (in my opinion) clearly better. (However, I REALLY like the Lesser Daemon change, and overall I think the team has definitely improved.)

@grrrreindeer: as far as I know, even if the roster page doesn't display the changes of season 4, you should see them in game.
That means that the +1 AV boost you took should stack with the new Doombull's AV 9, bringing it up to 10 in game.

that's a myth, I gave that data for it in a forum, less teams have claw in SL than they do in the normal game, proportionally. its just people gravitate towards claw, those teams get played more because people like blood :D

Yes, to be accurate: there is less Claw proportionally but Claw teams are often picked by people.
There is less Tackle too, proportionally speaking, compared to default teams.

Are there any stats for ninja flings yet ? They don't look THAT terrible, with ag4 and 2 very reliable (too much for a stunty roster ?) team-mate throwers. I'd be curious to know how they did so far. :)

I highly disagree with disposable being removed from dust goblins.

You gonna take the dust goblin roster, that never actually ranks very high in anything, and stick it with the nerf bat because... you didnt win good enough playing against them?

I guess in the grand scheme of things, what makes secret league so cool is that even when your fav team become less fun to play, you have a whole host of other options to choose from. So ill look forward to the positive.

The other and most important positive being THANK YOU for maintaining the SL and looking into changes. Its a lot of work and stuff I cant do so I really appreciate it. Were getting ready to dive into Turkey day here in the states so, while we may not see eye on the disposeable thing, thank you thank you thank you thank you for what you do.
